About ChamplineFarms

Champline Enterprises is a black-owned, family run, farming enterprise based in the Vaal Triangle (Kaalfontein), South Africa. Currently the farm is run by a father (Moeketsi) and daughter (Moleboheng) duo, through the support of their family at large.

The operations have been taking place on a small scale since 2013. In 2019, The Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development leased a 66 hectare portion of land to Champline for a period of 30 years, enabling the business to consider and to put in place a growth strategy.

In this growing phase, the Champline team believes in the power of collaboration – with stakeholders, other farmers in our community, technical experts and the environment itself – in order to deliver the best quality produce to our customers.

We take the greatest pride in our meticulous methodologies in the propagation of our seedlings, nurturing them until the desired condition is achieved. The ability to grow our own seedlings offers the opportunity to control some of the input costs in the value chain, making Champline Enterprises a competitive  alternative in the fresh produce market.

As a family run business, we are passionate about adopting sustainable agricultural practices that promote healthy soil, conservation of water and managing energy efficiencies. This passion stems from the parallels drawn from our own family because leaving a good legacy for the future generations is an indication and measure of success.
